Sainik School Mainpuri

Cdr Prakadheeswaran KM assumed the office of Principal, Sainik School Mainpuri on 15 Oct 24. He is an alumnus of prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and commissioned in Education Branch of the India Navy on 06 Jul 2009. Post completion of ab-initio training, the Officer was posted as an Instructor at the Naval Academy. His educational qualifications include M.Phil in Physics, B.Ed and M.Sc in Naval Weapons. During his career the officer has tenanted various Educational and Training related appointments in various Naval Units and Headquarters.

The Officer is specialised in Gunnery and Missile Warfare and served as an Instructor at INS Dronacharya, the alma mater of Naval Gunnery Officers. He served as Senior Education Officer in two tenures at INS Agrani and INS Zamorin respectively, wherein he was instrumental in improving the schooling and in service examination facilities. For his immense contribution in the field of Education, the officer was commended by Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command on 15 Aug 2021.

He is a Keen Eco warrior and passionate about Equitation and playing Golf. The officer is married to Mrs. Ranjithadevi S, who holds a B.Tech in IT and is also a qualified pre-primary teacher. They are blessed with a daughter, Nanmugai Thulasi, who is currently school going.
